Lina Roessler trained in New York and was discovered on Broadway in Hamlet and Zarathustra. She made her feature film debut in I’m Not There, playing alongside Heath Ledger and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

The intensity of the film and the characters was so visually powerful that I made sure to film it in the most simple and instinctive way. I wanted to make the audience feel and understand the sacrifices war correspondents must sometimes do on assignment in dangerous zones around the world. Shooting in Quebec, with its magnificient landscapes, wide spaces and St-Lawrence river brought to the world of the film authenticity and richness.

Charles-Olivier grew up in Quebec, Canada. He traveled around the world discovering cultures, people and also working in international business in Europe, Singapore and Canada. His passion for the world, captured on film in his debut feature film SNOW & ASHES, is expressed through his fluency in six(6) languages.
